• No sound in mavericks!: Apple Support Communities

  Please tell me that Mavericks isn’t actually a smart skin for Windows Millenium Edition?

  “I chatted with Apple support. They provided a suggestion that seemed to fix the problem! Go to system preferences, under energy saver, remove the checkbox for “put hard disks to sleep when possible”. Then the problem seems to go away. I think. It hasnt come back for me. Do let me know if this fix works for you!”
