My rating: 4 of 5 stars

How come vulnerability is the one thing that we seek in others – and that truly moves us – and yet remains the one thing we are most likely to conceal to others?

This book is about dealing with one’s shame. About having the courage to embrace one’s own vulnerability. About being wholehearted in a “culture of never enough”. It is a book about compassion, connection, belonging, engagement, worthiness, hope and love. And Brené Brown provides tremendous amounts of research and data to support her conclusions.

Probably my favourite and most inspiring reading of 2013. Highly recommended!

Happy New Year 🙂
